It started out as a pencil doodle, I swear 9_9. Then it sorta...exploded into something more. Plus I was really dying to try CGing on my new 22" monitor ever since I came home for winter break.

I love the perspective on his pose, the shading is fantastic, and I love the expression on his face. The butterflies coming from his paint is a nice touch, too.
